Welcome to the Android privacy course! In this course we will teach you everything about creating the best possible privacy setup on your Android device. Not only do we endorse privacy, but this course is build around a couple of key values: privacy, open-source software, freedom of speech, and if possible: decentralization.

The first part of the course is focusing on the violation of our privacy and the definition of privacy itself. Why would you even want or need it? Is it even possible to maintain your privacy in today’s day and age? Later on the course we will focus on solutions, without the need to go and buy a new phone. It’s even better: your phone will feel like it’s brand new! Better privacy also means more battery life. Gone with all the bloatware and tracking! I don't have any technical knowledge, can I still enroll in this course?

Yes, you can. We believe privacy is a basic human right that should be available to anyone. We made this course so that even our grandmothers could be following it!

When I DeGoogle my phone, will I still be able to use my favorite apps?

You will. In the course we will explain what the different implications will be for using different kind of apps. We will, for example, highly discourage you to use an app like Whatsapp or Facebook. But, if there’s really no other option (on another phone for example), we will still offer the option to use it in the most privately friendly way possible. And, on the other hand, we will still highly encourage you to get used to using alternatives.

I have an iPhone, can I still follow this course?

The first section of the course will be a general one, focusing on the privacy flaws we have on the internet in general. The rest of the course will be specifically for Android phone. The thing with iPhones is that the software is not as editable as much as Android, so there is a lot less you can do. What you can do, however, is purchase a cheap Android phone with great specs (like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro). You can then rebuild this phone and use this one for the maximum amount of privacy. You then have a choice to make.

Can I get a refund?

We at Android-Privacy.com we like the Xiaomi Redmi note 8/9, because of it’s great specs for a really low price. This low price mostly comes from all the bloatware that comes pre-installed on it, but we are going to get rid of that anyway 😉

I can just install a custom rom and then I'm done right?

No! This is a big mistake a lot of people make. Just installing a private rom will get rid of Google’s Android, but you’re still far away from the most privacy friendly setup (also see section 2 of the course).

How long is section 3?

Section 3 itself is 2 hours of video material. The rebuilding will probably take 3 hours for a more technical person and 4/5 hours for a less technical person.

How much time do I save?

Zeer professionele, fijne, geduldige en gezellige begeleiding!

Nadat mijn nieuwe telefoon al driekwart in de doos lag (iets met een drempel overgaan…) was de hulp van Ernad en Wesley ontzettend fijn! Voor mij is een telefoon installeren altijd heel saai, maar met de hulp van Ernad was het een stuk gezelliger. Plus dat de overgang naar een privacyvriendelijke telefoon minder gecompliceerd was dan ik had verwacht. Alle belangrijke stappen doorgenomen en zo kon ik verder zelf aan de slag.

Met toch nog een vraag werd ik 2 weken later aan de telefoon net zo vriendelijk geholpen als op kantoor. Er wordt meegedacht, tips gegeven en geen vraag is er 1 teveel. Naast de producten die verkocht worden is de hulp net zo’n aanrader! Dank jullie wel, wat fijn dat ik nu zo’n grote stap heb gezet om meer verantwoordelijkheid te nemen over mijn privacy!

Zeer fijne service en begeleiding

Ik heb een pixel 8 afgenomen bij Ernad en Wesley. Ze nemen beiden ruim de tijd om mijn vragen te beantwoorden. Mijn vraag was vrij specifiek en ze hebben mij daar goed bij kunnen helpen. Ik ben onder de indruk van Graphene OS en de techniek erachter. Het kost iets extra, maar de service die je ervoor terug krijgt is het dubbel en dwars waard. Hartelijk dank!

Afgelopen woensdag langs geweest voor uitleg over de telefoon. Er gaat een nieuwe wereld voor je open! Wat is er veel mogelijk om je eigen privacy weer terug te pakken, fantastisch! Deze jongens hebben verstand van zaken en spreken met veel passie over wat we allemaal kunnen doen om niet meer afhankelijk te zijn. Je neemt zelf weer de regie in handen en zo maken we de wereld weer een beetje mooier!

Uitstekende telefoon en top support

Tot op heden ben ik heel erg tevreden over de telefoon.

Er is veel software voor geïnstalleerd en met de uitleg op de website, kun je downloaden wat je maar nodig hebt.

Je hebt toegang tot meerdere “app stores” dus ook tot de Play store, zonder een Google account.

Je kan verschillende omgevingen creëren, zodat de apps alleen toegang hebben tot dat deel van de telefoon (dus niet tot je media bestanden op je basis omgeving).

Het is eigenlijk een normale telefoon, maar nu kun je zelf kiezen wat je aan sensoren aan hebt en wat niet. Veel apps zijn anders dan dat wat je gewend bent, maar ze werken hetzelfde (alleen met minder of geen machtigingen).

De support van de mensen van de shop is uitstekend. Dat zorgt ervoor dat ook mensen met minder gevoel voor dit soort dingen uit de voeten kunnen. Het is allemaal even wennen, soms iets moeite voor doen, maar je bent veel veiliger en je privacy wordt vele malen beter gewaarborgd.

Ik ben een zeer tevreden klant en ik denk dat mijn gezin ook eraan moet geloven.
